Maybe it was my September trip to the Outer Banks that inspired these beach-themed clutch balls. Or maybe it was watching my grandchildren jump over the waves, build castles, and scour the beach for shells. Whatever it was, when I found this shell print fabric, I knew I had to use it.
Though they are not designed as beach toys, our clutch balls are machine washable, so a bit of sand or water wouldn't be a problem.

,This is me, Amira, last Christmas holding my personalized Cause for Crafting Christmas stocking. I have to admit I didn't get the whole "Christmas thing" last year. My parents selected the colors for my stocking and then teased that I could fit inside it. I was only one and one half months old back then. I've gotten much bigger and wiser since then. I certainly couldn't fit inside my stocking and I know that I have to hang up my stocking on Christmas Eve. Santa will know its mine because my name is embroidered on the top. I'm looking forward to my second Christmas and am glad I have a sturdy, roomy stocking that will last for many years to come.

Hi, this is Sammy, the cat. I feel that when it comes to their capacity for empathy cats have had a bad rap. I'll admit there have been moments in my life that I have been less than kind . There was the time I scratched the dog's nose, but you have to admit that dog needed to learn his place. However, nobody could question my devotion to my human and I've noticed a problem she has. She pulls a dish from the microwave and burns her fingers - Ouch! Well I've discovered the perfect way to protect her sensitive paws, paw-print micro mitts. Unlike dishtowels, oven mitts, pot holders and silicon mitts, these allow the dexterity needed to extract an item from the microwave without spilling. They are "purrfect." (Sorry, I couldn't resist the pun.) Speaking of empathy, the sale of these mitts provides funds for the Saint Vincent de Paul Society as they work with other social agencies to help humans in need.
